Attending: Janet Chisman, Vicki Croft, Mary Gilles (Co-Chair), Lauren McNiece, Ingrid Mifflin, Jill Palmer, Barbara Paulson, Marilyn Von Seggern (Co-Chair), Sharon Walbridge (Recorder), John Webb, Leslie Wykoff (via phone), and Christy Zlatos.
Absent: Rhonda Gaylord, Daryl Herbison, and Kay Vyhnanek.

No items were presented during check-in.
Meeting minutes
Minutes of the August 7 meeting were approved as distributed.
It was noted that WHETS is not available next week so the first Committee meeting on WHETS will be planned for September 4.
Small groups
The small groups delivered their proposed models. For the sake of clarity, the models will subsequently be known by colors, green, blue, and yellow.
Following presentations, a question/ answer and discussion period was held. During that time, a fourth model was proposed by Mary Gilles and the organization chart for that model was distributed. That model was named the beige model. It was noted that no models or ideas had yet been communicated from the Libraries staff after the solicitation message.
How to proceed
It was decided that small groups will meet next week during the regular Planning Committee time - there will be no meeting of the whole Committee. The purpose of the small group meetings will be to work toward models that are reflective of the commonalties in the four proposed organization charts. Those new organization charts will be presented at the Committee's September 4 meeting.
