Most of the resources offered here are by subscription only.  This means that we pay for access to the contents.  Most of these online services require that we register all of our WSU IP addresses with them, and restrict access to their products by allowing connections only by those registered IP addresses.
     In order to accommodate our off-campus and extended campus patrons, we are detecting your IP address when you access one of these resources.  If you are coming  from a WSU address we will pass you straight to the selected service.  If you are coming in from a Non-WSU address we ask you to authenticate with your WSU Network ID, and then pass you along to your selected resource as if you were actually here on campus. 
    We are dedicated to making these services as easy for you to use as we possibly can, but understand that there may occasionally be problems with access.   

Here are some answers to the most common connection problems.

 Whadaya Mean? I get the message that I have "entered incorrect information"
 Let Me In ! My Name and ID are correct, but I still can't connect!
 Let Me In ! I receive a "Not Found" or "Page cannot be displayed" error message.
 Whadaya Mean? I get the message that my "browser is not accepting cookies"
 Whadaya Mean? I get the message that I am "not allowed to use this resource..."
 Bogus ! I'm on a WSU campus but am being asked to authenticate!
 Why ? Some Databases work for me but others don't.
